How to Handle Market Declines

American Funds Models are invested in F-2 share class funds. If your client owns the F-2 share class of any of the funds included in the selected model, the funds can be contributed to the model and the shares needed for the model allocation to that fund will be retained, avoiding a taxable liquidation in taxable accounts. In limited cases, A share class fund holdings may be eligible for conversion to F-2 share class. Contact American Funds to inquire about A share conversion eligibility.
