In 2008, Chapoquoit founders Richard Oberuc and Philip Nehro identified that investors wanted a different investment approach that provided the following:

Chapoquoit Dynamic Portfolios employ a quantitative investment process based on advanced linear programming that learns from past macroeconomic conditions. Its models focus on defending against severe losses, as Chapoquoit believes that limiting the impact of large losses that are regularly suffered by equities is the key to investment success. It does this by monitoring fundamental macroeconomic factors that influence portfolio performance.

Chapoquoit’s patented Dynamic Asset Allocation Control Functions simultaneously change allocations to exchange traded funds within sectors of equities, fixed income and commodities. Its models are designed to reduce an investor’s anxiety in the investment process.

If you wish to deploy any of these models, you now have convenient one-click access. You can include them in Investment Plan proposals and you can invest in them through the Service Center. If you do not have trading authorization, you must upload into the client’s Documents vault either a one-time letter of authorization or a limited power of attorney signed by the client, after which you can invest, as instructed by the client, using the Service Center or by contacting your EQIS team.
